The product spectrum ranges from the refinement of minerals to research projects and culminates in the real production of a new prototype, which determines the future of the company.

All actions of the simulated companies have a direct impact on purchase and sales prices of raw materials and produced goods.

In addition, the operating results of all companies are represented in the form of a share price, from which the participants can derive their current performance and stand in direct comparison with the other companies.

Overview of the factors of the Leadership Experience

Leadership and influence

In addition to strategic and operational skills, employee leadership plays a key role in the success of the respective company. Furthermore, in addition to business challenges, day-to-day work situations arise that also challenge participants in terms of their soft skills. Through well thought-out work organization and with the help of job rotation, job enlargement and job enrichment methods, managers can influence the motivation of employees and thus increase the efficiency of their own production.

Application of leadership tools

Within the periods, managers will be required to apply the most important leadership tools and to time these with the other challenges. This includes leading, correcting, and debriefing on goal setting with employees. Leaders must actively seek feedback discussions with their employees, creating an appreciative atmosphere.

Dealing with difficult leadership situations

The dynamics of the “Leadership Experience” constantly give rise to new leadership situations that managers must deal with adequately. This part of the leadership work is deliberately not controlled, as this is the only way to create realistic situations in which participants can demonstrate their abilities. In addition, the periods include role plays that initiate conflict-ridden leadership situations. The participants are prepared for this in detail and receive all the necessary information from our consultants. The participants receive individual feedback on how they solved the situation and in which areas they can still improve.

Reflection and feedback

At regular intervals, reflection phases are embedded in the leadership simulation. This gives participants the opportunity to process their experiences and learn from them. A core aspect of the simulation is the constant examination of one’s own impact on the other participants and individual leadership behavior. Each leader receives feedback from the groups as well as from the consultants/trainers. This gives them the opportunity to implement the findings from the feedback into their actions and to implement and try out these behavioral adaptations during the periods.
